Role Summary:
The International Service Engineer will be responsible for service, commissioning, and support activities across Glamox’s full portfolio of lighting and LMS systems. In addition, the role includes Team Lead responsibility for Field Engineering within the Marine, Offshore & Wind (MOW) division, ensuring alignment, competence development, and execution excellence across field operations.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
International service, commissioning, and maintenance for lighting and LMS systems across Navy, Commercial Marine, Offshore, and Wind segments, including (but not limited to) HVLAS, ANLS, ASLS, NavLight Systems, and other LMS solutions
Act as Team Lead for Field Engineering (Marine Offshore Wind division), supporting coordination, knowledge sharing, and operational quality across the field engineering team
Independent planning and execution of:
System commissioning and service assignments worldwide
System testing and documentation
Product and user training for crews and operators
Installation of systems, including execution of HAT and SAT procedures
Perform maintenance and service activities on installed systems in the after-sales phase
Plan and coordinate global service assignments in close collaboration with the Sales organization
Provide internal technical support to Sales and Customer Service teams, particularly related to system functionality, troubleshooting, and application questions
Act as a technical ambassador for Glamox, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction across all segments
Qualifications Needed:
Several years of relevant professional experience with a technical focus, a technical degree, or a comparable qualification in electrical engineering
Proven experience within electrical engineering and/or the shipbuilding, offshore, or renewable (wind) environment
Strong technical competence, including the ability to read and understand circuit diagrams
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
High willingness to travel internationally and work across different cultures

Ideally, you also have:
Experience working with international customers and/or within service engineering
