AI & Software Engineering Intern
Help shape Glamox’s AI transformation by building smarter software, exploring emerging tools and enabling colleagues across an international organization.
Introduction
Glamox is a leading international supplier of professional lighting solutions. We develop, manufacture and distribute lighting systems for the global marine, offshore and professional building markets, with operations across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
We are now looking for an intern to join our IT team and take part in shaping how Glamox adopts artificial intelligence. The role combines building better software tools with helping drive AI adoption across the organization.
The position is based in Oslo, with Molde and Kraków also possible locations. This is an entry-level position designed to fit alongside your studies: you will work approximately one to two days per week during the semester, with flexibility around exam periods.
What you'll do
Assist in smaller software development efforts, using AI tools such as Claude Code
Help drive company-wide adoption of AI tools and services (Claude, MS Copilot and more)
Support user engagement initiatives to help colleagues across Glamox adopt AI in their day-to-day work
Run exploratory sessions to understand the possibilities of new and emerging AI tools and features
Work closely with corporate IT and the business to identify where AI can improve software tools and workflows
Who you are
Currently studying a software-related field (computer science, software engineering, or similar)
Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software development
Enthusiastic about exploring AI tools and technologies; hands-on experience is a plus
Interested in using AI both for self-automation and for software development
Comfortable communicating with colleagues across different technical backgrounds
Fluent in English; Norwegian is a plus but not required
