Join Our Team as a Documentation Specialist at Glamox
Glamox is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join our Marine and Offshore Wind (MOW) division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering essential technical and compliance documentation to customers throughout the bid and delivery phases of projects. Your contribution will ensure smooth project execution and strengthen customer relationships, supporting the delivery of large-scale lighting systems for marine and offshore environments.
Documentation Support:
Create, manage, and deliver customer-specific documentation, including technical manuals, certificates, datasheets, and compliance documents, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Customer Interaction: Serve as a key contact for customers regarding documentation needs, ensuring their requests are met promptly and in compliance with international standards.
Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and engineers to gather and compile necessary technical information.
Bid Phase Documentation: Prepare and submit comprehensive documentation packages, including:
o Technical specifications and product descriptions.
o Compliance certificates (DNV-GL, ABS, IECEx, etc.).
o Product datasheets tailored to project requirements.
Delivery Phase Documentation:
Organize and deliver project handover documentation, such as:
o Installation manuals and warranty documentation.
o Product certificates and test reports (e.g., FAT, site acceptance tests).
o Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and as-built drawings.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
Continuous Improvement: Optimize documentation processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Relevant education and proven experience in technical documentation or project coordination.
Ability to deliver accurate and compliant documentation on time, meeting project and customer expectations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to foster positive relationships.
Proactive in keeping up-to-date with industry standards and certifications.
Collaborative team player, effectively working with internal teams to ensure project success.
